If you want to add/move/delete files in your Andromeda site, all you have to do is add/move/delete the files in your folder - Andromeda will automatically reflect those changes. You'll never need to fumble through a clumsy web interface just to add new music to your collection! You don't need to be a programmerYou can tailor Andromeda to look and work just how you want it to, without knowing any programming. Andromeda has loads of settings (or 'preferences') that fine-tune how it works. All of your settings are kept in a separate file, so that when you upgrade you can easily keep your old settings. For instance, you can easily change the way your Andromeda site looks by downloading a skin (or 'theme'), or even make your own. For example, take a look at Free_Radicals or Phoar.com.
Andromeda can also be integrated within your existing web site, including sites powered by content management systems such as PHP-Nuke, PostNuke, phpWebSite, etc, and weblogs like Movable Type, pMachine, etc. For example, take a look at Pianomedia or Jazkarta. Some sites configure Andromeda to pop open into a new window (Nyle or David & the Citizens) and still others use frames (Jason Singer or Q Studios). You can even add pictures or text (including HTML) to your Andomeda site (Electro Harmonix or Scream Sophie).  And Andromeda is more than a pretty face. For example, you can quickly lock your Andromeda site by turning on its logon feature.
